A thousand half-loves must be forsaken to take one whole heart home. - Rumi

This work (A thousand half-loves, 2017)  draws on Rumi's quote in reference to the search for both love and home. The three dozen yellow roses on glass floaters are to be replaced every seven days. The flowers in the state of impermanence, share their beautiful scent, texture and colour before reminding us that everything but gold corrodes.
