I'll leave the light on for you (I, II, III, IV, V)
Emulsion on wall, found light fixtures and wall switches, sex appeal (4 sets)
Dimensions variable
2015

This work deals with the notion of how lights are beacons. As a sign of longing & desire,  the single light is from the lobby of the Love Hotel II series has been extended to be in a set of 5 lights (4 in the front windows of Mizuma Gallery, & a solitary one at the back window). The lights are left on the entire duration of the exhibition for over a month. A haunting element of the work is also nuanced by how in the context of Gillman Barracks, the lights are thus left on for the ghosts of the past.
