En Passant (2011 - ongoing)

En Passant (June 2011- ongoing) is a conceptualized as an art project that explores Lulu's relationship in fleeting run-ins & liminal spaces.

In the process of shooting these images at the railway station that will cease on Jul 1, 2011, chance encounters & shots by strangers further add to how we negotiate our place-ness in urban settings.

All photographs are by Tiffany Tan unless otherwise stated. The artist used to take the train to Kuala Lumpur & back in the 90s, as did her parents & grandmother in the 60s.

...

The images of En Passant are taken by viewers who have spotted Lulu in various parts of Singapore as one of the images in the series was used for publicity material for the Singapore Prudential Eye exhibition in ArtScience Museum, Singapore (Jan 17 - Jun 28, 2015).
